Ah yes, while waiting for the tracking code from the guy I purchased the Ultra Think Keyboard from – It showed up in the mail today (USPS) while I expected UPS or FedEx, no skin off my back – as long as it works my review for the seller will be positive – if issues arise, then I will definately talk with the seller. But so far so good!
Hopefully the T|T will be right on time, Roger got me the tracking # earlier today however I was out most of the day working on a server – running around town, fixing the toliet seat which broke, and hanging out with my friend dan – so email is just barely getting checked now
But Roger was nice enough to up the package to 2 day delivery so come Wed. I will have me a new PDA (used but by a careful nerd like myself)
I am just all pumped up, I have been using the GPRS connect on my laptop more and more – comes in so handy and I have actually been striving to get out of my home office more and more as I sit there day after day after day after day after day… well you get the idea
With HappyPalm.com kicking into high gear lately with posts galore I too am getting ready to post some views on my conversion from T665C Clie -> Tungsten T Palm. Should be quite a ride, but I am ready to give it a whirl. I actually stopped and played with a Zire 71 today at Office max, and for a little guy that wasnt too shabby, good responce time, good camera quality on screen – definately a great unit for anyone from entry level PDA to professional.
But I did have a fun time at CompUSA today – a gentleman who previously came to my church and is a major gadget head is now working as a hardware manager there, he was trying to convert me to PPC-ism. He pulled out his unit which as some finger print checking system – now while that’s cool and the full playback of a STNG episode was cool – I kept saying “Palm OS Fits me better” and it does, which I plan to one day proove why for me it does better to have Palm vs PPC – don’t get me wrong PPC is great for a lot of people, however for me Palm is just quick, easy, no funky pricing on cheesy software – and its less Windows Bloat
But all in good time, the T|T will get here, then I will be doing some mobile blogging from Barnes and Noble (visiting my pal Rosie) should be pretty fun getting out and with such a tiny rig doing soooo much.
Three Cheers for Roger and the great deal he gave me, and three cheers for clients who paid me on time this month! The lights will stay on!
