So I got the new MBP – probably the most expensive lunch I have ever had
I went to BestBuy and snagged the new 2.66ghz MBP, got it partially setup at work, but sadly had some assorted things to finish at work and couldn’t play too much.
Now of course at home it has been setup-extravaganza! Got most apps I use and only those – trying to keep it really clean, but it is running very smoothly – I ditched Apple Mail for PostBox – I enjoy Thunderbird, and I like Apple Mail, but PostBox seems to have alot ot good GTD options, smooth view, easy search, it’s pretty nice. I enjoy it quite well.
Next “Must Have” app is the Verizon Access App – going to try just plugging it in first, and see if it’ll recognize without their software, but if not it’ll go on too – but for now I just dropped the CS3 disc in the drive to get it installing – but then it’s off to dinner.
Anywhoo – a lot is in the works, this is a big step towards a few more multi-threaded projects so hopefully now with my entire workforce of systems updated, I’ll accomplish a bit more and more, and hopefully it’ll remain snappy! More later – have a good Monday Night!
