The Day After…

Ahh yes. I am alive (mostly) a big week is to come of code, calls, and possibly moving forward on the office space (Yay!) but to re-cap yesterday a bit more in greater detail….

The Wedding day started bright and early at 7:30am (not my best hour) - but after a shower and quick drive downtown to the church I arrived - no worse for wear, but a tad jittery - my only sis getting married, so I figure it’s my right - but despite the desires of my mom I did not tuck in my shirt - call me a rebel, but I had to move a bit during the wedding so I had to be free to move - plus since working out my body temp tends to be warmer so it helped keep me a touch cooler.

Photographer came in (old friend of the family) and took tons of shots, and then me and eric kept going more and more digital camera photos (291 taken) but also some video. It was awesome though - beautiful wedding, lots of people crying - lots of photo’s taken, but it was awesome. We had worried about a lot of rain, but thankfully the rain wasnt that bad - it was mellow not a downpour but it was a beautiful day.

The reception was crazy! Lots of people, but some good fun - totally forgot to eat - tiny detail, but I kept running around the room with the camcorder & cameras going nuts - still some camera phone shots to dump and get online to share with family but it was a fun thing.

The bad joke of the reception (at least for me) was the whole line of questioning to my rents and to me - I am officially the last single member of my family - so there was some joking that maybe I’d find my wife at the wedding, but none the less apparently I need to get started (lol) but it was a good time - a few cute ladies, but no one I had time to strike up a conversation with - plus most were there with dates so a futile area to start this journey into non-singledom - ah the joys of peer pressure

After all things reception and wedding were done, I came home, talked with mom and aunt for a bit, then went to lay down for a bit - and woke up a while later to people asking me what I wanted for dinner.

Busy busy - still photos to put on my sister’s website (www.michaelandbeth.com) - apparently blurry and photos with closed eyes are bad or something lol. But by far, my favorite shot I took was this one: Charity the Flower Girl - good stuff.

Anywhoo back to reality - sis and hubby are on the boat, heading off on their cruise for the week! Tons of fun - and me personally - back to reality too - a pile of work waiting for me
