Phone Death….

My cell tends to be my only steady link to communication anymore - I still need to move the Vonage line from home to here so it can live in the office, probably upgrade it to a business line, which gets me a free fax # - but my cell has been acting up. Last night after Fathers Day / Mom’s B-Day at the Lake - it said "Insert Sim" - took a while for me to get it back up and running, but kinda odd, plus lately people say it cuts out a lot, and can be really hard to hear me.

I would LOVE to get a Treo 650 - But budget for a few months till I get the laptop cleared off the card, and rebates come in, it is going to be a little tight in the budget for new phones/gadgets - as much as I love my T3 and my V551 - I wouldn’t mind a all-in-one device, it would be nice to have everything in the palm of my hand, and not have to lug around 30 devices, plus it’d be nice for email checking on the road vs. whippin out a laptop just to find out no one emailed me.

What to do, what to do - I am looking for a basic unlocked GSM on eBay right now to if nothing else be on stand-by, I do have my T68i somewhere - probably just end up finding it, tried to sell it, but now they are going for ultra cheap everywhere $25 is the cheapest, and that was for unlocked - what is this world coming to?
