My sister got me a book for Christmas, and I just finished reading it, granted it was in a bookshelf for a while, and I read half of it at one point, then just came back a few days ago and started reading it again – the catch to it, was very “opinionated” is how I’ll put it.
The book is Deadline by Randy Alcorn – a decent book, good story line, very good visual depictions of heaven and hell (though Hell’s was brief) – but just great visual ques which really gave you a awesome view of what heaven could truly be, but also of friendship, family, finding faith, and a nice hint of action
all in all a good read, I have no complaints about the book other than large sections going on and on with facts about abortions, and various other real-life issues granted, but at times it felt overly preachy, like it felt I wouldn’t of known about the issues listed.
Anywhoo – worth a read, give it a look if you get a chance, as for me, I think I’ll try that whole sleep thing now.
Hey did you ever get that e-mail that I sent you or did I reply to the wrong addy?
