For most people today is a day of pulling pranks, letting people know your married, your dying, etc. just really bad nasty jokes sometimes – however for me, it is a day I rarely forget, and usually thank God for being alive. For it was April 1st, I was coming home a few years ago from Delano, there was a matress in the fast lane, I swerved, lost my rear tire, went three lanes, and was sideswiped by a big rig, to be rolled into the side of the road, upside down.

House of Usher full movie So needless to say instead of pranks (which I did a good one this past week anywhoo – I love you Andy!) – today is a day I am just happy to be here, walking around. Life has bene crazy this past week, and I am sure this coming week will be no different as more things gear up for GMA, server moves start to go forward, and taxes get started and finished – but tonight coming home from the show at The Gate that the crew from Awaken put on, I am just happy to be alive, have good friends, a great God, and special people in my life who may or may not know how I feel about them, but I really need to make the effor to know that they do – as one thing you have go in your mind as you see the front grill of a semi coming at you – is all the things you didn’t do, the things you wish you had said, etc. sure sure the whole life flashes before your eyes thing happens too – but it feels like an eternity as your waiting for what seems to be your pending doom.

Anywhoo – that’s my bit, no silly jokes, no “Guys, I got married tonight to a girl I met at the prison!” – and no I don’t want this – pale is my look – but God is Good. Nuff said. Night. (well almost, want to do a potd)
