Chicken Little

Well currently I have 4 chicks in my backyard, 2 more eggs to go - our neighbors raise chickens, and my dad before leaving told them one made it over and laid some eggs in our backyard, well apparently they’ve been there a while as they are hatching right and left.

Cute buggers though the mom is only watching over one - it follows her around like a puppy, the other 3 already out and about are huddled in the patio cover that’s laying on the ground, as it got cool last night, poor guys, I’m sure it was cold - but they are alive, not sure what to do, but so far nature seems to be fine without me butting in.

A big day - Going to call Officemax again, see if they ever found my desk, was supposed to get a call, got nothing, so going to call again and see whats up, also my Epson R340 comes in today, found the 4×6 paper from Epson on sale for 100 sheets, so I picked it up, going to do a print or two once I get it up and running - but pretty excited about both those, will help un-clutter the room with the new desk, and I have been wanting to print some stuff photo quality so should be fun.

Prep work is underway for probably one of the last CMC things for a while, one final project I suggested finally is coming about, migration to a new provider for hosting, I have never done their hosting on my servers, but their current provider has made  some changes, and it makes it harder for them to keep updated, plus without a full time admin anymore, they needed a better solution, this way I can at least automate some of the update processes to nightly so they have a more up-to-date system, which is half the battle, then their new part-time admin will come in now and again for checkups.

All in all, a busy day I suppose - and with temps slated to be under 100F should be a not-so-sticky day - but I must get to it, say a prayer for me, lot of work to do, a only so many hours of sleep had, so I might be a tad cranky. Have a Good Day All.
