A busy busy week it feels like, yet so far since I have been up since 4:55am I have gotten a lot done, a lot caught up and moving forward - made some more cleanup on getting the new admin setup on CMC’s new server, thats going smooth, just going to take a little longer than expected - but not a HUGE deal.
Also helped my sister move this weekend as well amougst all things, which was fun, then yesterday we had her birthday party (23 now) - had the new “In-Laws” over lol got to crack jokes, make strange Napolean Dynamite comments as we moved the last of the large furniture up stairs lol. GOSH!
But this week also brings a few other mini-consulting gigs, and a few server jobs to help a few companies get their servers up to spec and cleaned up so they are more secure than curently are (outdated services, and security) $150 extra in the pocket for doing it (well minus the cost of a SSL certificate) - but that too is good 
Also have a thing I want to do on the junkie side, which would lead up to other things with the AudioA projects, but looking at some options, etc. before I do it - all hush hush though, not even Lindsay will know (muwhahahahaha!) but going to have to make a change or two.. but never fear, they will be good (at least I think so!).
Anywhoo - day beckons - probably moving into my new/old room in a week once sis gets her stuff all moved out (closet and few piles of books) - then I must take down the fan, paint, new blinds - re-work the networking, etc. and I am good to go, may even be upgrading from the futon to a bed! Man I am livin the high life

Made my way to the new 1.5 - didn’t mess much with migrating my template at this point, just figure get updated, over the next few weeks as things level out, projects come and go, get myself some time on the mac, adjust the css to fit, and work on some new concepts I had anywhoo.

Some would say not to jinx a good breeze of times by talking about it - but you know I say “Bleh” life is up and downs, good and bad, but the key is who your partner is in the journey. I am not talking the perfect girlfriend or boyfriend, but a more “eternal” road companion - aka God.
I know not everyone who reads my blog is a person like faith as me, but hey who am I to judge? I am just a simple nerd, I post my random thoughts and for some reason you come here So without further a-do…. my life.

Priceless.
Man, what a weekend - definately a good chunk of prayer in on things, 3hrs of a server being out, and still no real reason as to why it went down, but I am guessing load + age + age of software = crash. But all that aside, now things are onto the road to repair as I just went ahead and sadly invested the money I was saving up for a friends server, and got a new one up for the clients of sheepy - it is lovingly called “faith” - and it has been up for 2 days now running smooth - but the next week or so as people hit mini-road blocks will mean that support requests go up - but compared to angry emails and phone calls asking “WHY IS THE SERVER OFF!?!??!?!?” this seemed like a smaller price to pay.
But this week leads into some GOOD stuff, getting some final touches on the first release of CMC - won’t have entirely what we had hoped for at some level (the chart, artist database, - still to be devloped) but all in all the first version, while some code not as “polished” as I would like it to be, it works, and I can tweak as the months/years go on.
What else, kinda work / personal related, hopefully get a draft of the Gym’s site done this week, if I can get that lined up for them - then I can start my time at the gym and get myself in shape - which would indeed be fun to be healthy and in shape with all the computer work I do.
Ooo and fun stuff - looking at digital cameras, wanting one so I can do some good night photo work at the lake and around town for projects, plus for beth’s wedding it’d be nice to have a quality camera, but it would require a small bit of investment as it uses xD memory vs. the common SD memory I have lying around, so I am still prayerfully shopping around - always open to suggestions, just want something I can control the shutter speeds a bit so I can do really low light photo work.
Anywhoo thats my ramble for now, gonna go back to loafin on AIM and staring at the growing to-do list I have this week lol Night all.

Had a server on the fritz today, its a legacy server so anything can go wrong, and did it seems - lot of prayer today to say the least, but now it’s back up, going to reboot it later this evening to see if it’ll come back to normal, vs. the method right now which is VERY jerry rigged lol.
However in setting up a new server today - I saw this:
So in other words, if you want to lag your server, and have it be crappy in general, choose option A. 
Back to it I go. Pray for me - gonna be a busy busy weekend.
Ah what a day thus far, some good things - got my iBook on the path to being insured for another 2 years, which if nothing else will give it a higher re-sale value should I ever decide to sell it off, but I think I may get a Mac Mini in a few months, which will make a nice workstation for the office (when I get one).
Also did something a little unlike me today, sent a email out to someone I have never met… more on that later - but all in all indeed a fun day, god some great headway on the code, soooooooooo close to being done and into final testing mode, then next week we can get the new CMC server, and migrate a few things to it so they can enjoy fresh PHP and MySQL as compared to the PHP on the current server which if I try to upgrade, Oi.
Anywho, Again if your looking for me, I am on email - I may release a hidden email address to a few people so you can email me on my cell (it checks for new email every 30 minutes).

Despite the rumors - I am not dead. Just one of those weeks, focusing on CMCentral’s CMS quite a bit, more or less nothing but, just ironing out bugs which effected previous builds and add in the new functionality to accommodate the new areas which will be coming to CMC in the coming weeks.
All in all though, life is going well, some things coming up as possible options, but its going well - and thanks to a few nights of good sleep, I almost feel human
But as the hour is growing late in the day I must get back to it, I am trying to wrap up some glitches in the editor, which appear to be related to Apache 2.0 - but I may be picking up a LCD monitor today from Newegg - some good deals, and my BEAST as I call it is really sucking energy - so I wanna swap it out.
