A good night, and good night

I had a good night tonight, got to do some exercise and hang out with a friend, good talkin, good walkin, and good grubbage ;) a very pleasent evening for a weekend in which I usually try to do nothing to ‘relax’ but this was a lot more relaxing, a good bunch of talk always helps relax, throw in some exercise, good times!

One last business thing to do this evening, but other than that I am gonna crash out, might be playing piano tomorrow at a church, still not 100% sure, anywhoo, night neverland.

House of D

This is a flick I wanted to see when it was in theatres, however it didn’t go very far, it was in limited release, then was gone - so when I saw it was out on DVD today, instead of renting it, I bought it. Good movie. It’s probably not a flick for everyone, but I enjoyed it, good story, good characters, good cast. Robin Williams makes a good “retard” lol.

Pretty much all I have to say right now, go forth, rent, enjoy.

$6.99 - What a Bargin! (now if only it had no S&H)

Well was moving around the computers tonight, trying to “clean” my room more as it has been more of a dumping ground for my stuff vs. a place for me to live/relax :) In moving my linux station around I kept having it get louder and louder, well it appears my northbridge chipset fan is dying, hince the growing hum of death.

In searching SOYO’s website I found they no longer stock the replacement fan as this board is now “Discontinued” so in searching around various other sites several folks said to go with the Zalman Aluminium Northbridge Chipset Cooler - the reason it’s a great replacement, No Fan. It’s made to suck the heat straight from the chip and disapate it quickly - thankfully I have 4 case fans so it should keep the flow in there cooler as this sucker shoots heat into the case. It’s a great deal too $6.99, however as noted by the topic, it’s shipping is $5, throw in tax and the grand total out the door is $12.49 - but as compared to buying a new motherboard/cpu/memory when the fan died and burns up the board, a lot better deal.

Also looking for a large SD card for the Treo, the 64MB is doing great, and I tried my 128 card, but it’s slllooowww - found out it’s only 2MB/s whereas the 64 is 8MB/s - so I am pricing a 1GB module that’s at least 8MB/s (though 10-22MB/s would be nice) - figure if that can be purchased I may do Yahoo Music’s subscription service as PocketTunes now does WMA subscriptions (aka PlaysForSure) so it’d be nice to have 1million+ tracks as I like on the Treo for casual use.

One thing still to be done is sell the Tungsten T3, my mom is using the V551 (though she’s not used to it yet) and I have my Jarba BT200 now up for sale as I got the BT250 on sale for $50 at OfficeMax, but its good stuff! So probably be having me a little virtual yard sale here soon, few items just laying around I really need to part with, so highly possible rock bottom prices :)

Well its’s coming up on 2:30, so I should get to sleep, lots on the To-Do on the Treo already :)
