Busy busy busy

Getting out with the E-500 has been my break from reality lately, the pending doom of taxes, a busy Feburary which is set to release a new “freshened” version of FlockHosting, intergration of new support system for the sites (customers can reply via email! w00t!), some new package sizes and slightly tweaked pricing & add-ons, and a few more side jobs to pick up some spare cash here and there in the middle, though this year I am going to go easy on side projects and spend a good year of building on my core business again, it needs it, I need it, and hopefully increase sales some this year (not that last year was bad).

Tomorrow though is a busy one, the first day back to full-tilt. I took Jan. easy, not trying to get a lot of stress on the table, not a lot of sidework picked up, just monitoring servers, working on relaxing, and spending time with friends - but Feb. beckons, I get another year older (and apparently wiser?) but it is the start of a lot of business things, possiblities on the table include doing some computer training, increasing sales staff, maybe some part timers or even just folks working on comission, but needless to say busy busy busy.

Above and beyond a full work schedule this year, I am making every effort for a balance of personal time, already telling friends to set aside Feb. 28th - a day of party and fun :) No excuses, everyone will attend (hotel accomidations are available upon request for those traveling in from other parts of the country.. come on, I only turn 26 once!) :) but it should be fun, I am also trying to see about maybe a weekly hang-out spot/time/event to get folks together to unwind, relax, have fun and just be who we are!

Well as my rant is drawing to a close and I must get to bed soon as I have a early day tomorrow at the local community college talking to a loan officer with Rosie, I do appriciate any and all prayers as it’s gonna get busy, it’s gonna get crazy, and it’s gonna get good. I have been blessed above and beyond the comment from Kt posted here, folks are enjoying my photography, and its always awesome to express myself through various forms of art - but expect a bit more, definately going to try and get out at least once a week to get something, possibly a basketball game for Dan here at my ol Jr. High - so expect various shots, various areas, fun fun fun :) Night folks!

Photo of the Day (1-30-06)

Sunset (1-30-06)

A fun cool-down to the day! Drove up Breckenridge Road and found a small dirt road (which my Neon mostly handled - but I quickly parked vs. drive further… I need a truck!) - but found a good spot, minus the folks riding their off-road bikes and throwing dirt around.

Got to play with the lighting, there are a few other shots with the adjusted White Balance settings, but it was kinda nice even with the overly blue :) More on the Flickr side! Enjoy!

eBay Photos for Mustang

Today’s photo is of my dad’s mustang, had a good bright and shiny day, so took the opertunity to get things ready for eBay, sorting threw 75 pics, but I enjoyed this one, gives you a good view of the car (have one of the other side, but the shadow seemed cooler) :)

So…. you didn’t really mean “help me”?

Don’t you just love it when someone asks for a hand in something, could be anything - you do a little leg work, and its like “oh… that… hrmm… yeah… about that…. ” it’s like dealing with Lumbergh from Office Space - you know the boss “yeah…. about that…” always just one thing that didn’t make it right, and if by golly I’d only gotten the memo about those TPS reports! It’d of saved everyone involved hours and hours of time.

Just always find it funny when people ask for help, then its just not what they were expecting… joys of life I suppose.

650 GSM Updated! Welcome 1.20!

Well in a morning search for a new app to manage my call log on my Treo650, I came across a page saying “Treo650 Updater 1.20″ and it was on our ever friendly Palm.com - so I cruised over and found that my unlocked GSM Treo finally had a firmware update! People have already said my phone sounds better - and it is a little more chipper IMO. Currently listening to MP3’s on it (gotta love having a 1GB SD card now! for $25 couldn’t go wrong!) - but lots of room for more apps, games, etc. so I am re-apping the phone now, considering wiping out all things, and then just re-sync address/calendar - but its still running good.

Anywhoo that’s my random rant for now, if you have a 650 Unlocked, look at the new updater, might help your phone if it has minor issues here and there.

Talk about a wrong number!

Just got a call on my cell from +7 (which appears to be from Russia) - but none the less not within the USA, no one said anything just as soon as I said “This is Chuck” heard a “ugh” and click. International connection fees are hurting someone now… i feel their pain.

Brain Trade In?

Lately my brain has been stuck on one thought - and figuring all the possiblities of that one situation, figuring the good, the bad, the in-between.

Throw in some frustration with a few customers - and some things I can never seem to get done with my own sites because I am working on everyone elses, my brain needs a nap, but I keep pushing forward, after a fun evening last night with da boys, life is good - just busy and da brain pain coach.

So who knows, just wish I could figure out what to do with this thing that’s grinding away in my brain…. but I suppose all things in life have a time, and a place… so just hafta wait and see.
