So no-one wanted lunch :(

LoL - Well I was downtown today, so I called around to see if anyone was up for lunch, but no such luck, but a fun but busy day that started at 6am (for once I wasnt ALREADY awake - iTunes woke me up) - but it was to downtown by 7ish, parked at K-man’s shop by 7:30ish, and walked to the convention center for Cori’s 8th grade graduation - twas fun!

After fighting our way to get out, then finding Rosie’s mom in the crowd I walked Rosie, Her Mom, and Sister to her car - then trekked back to K-man’s for a discussion about what had kept me up the night before, his new P4 3.06ghz server (running quite smoothly) and nearly ready for some copying, waiting on some final tweaks, and a data copy before I do much more - but hung out there a bit and talked shop, then it was back to the office for some document scanning, and then came home and had to crash for an hour or so, as Cori invited me to family dinner of “Pizza!” - how could I say no to a graduate? :)

So I got some more work done after my nap, waited and hoped the 2GB of ram would show up (please don’t hit me Jake) - but it never came while I was here, wrapped up some emails, opened a trouble ticket on a domain having issues at the registrar level and then headed out again this time to Rosie’s house for some grub and hangin out with her fam, it was fun stuff - a fun night, got to see some fun pictures, hang with X and play some Bejeweled on my phone, and wrapped up a fun evening with just chit-chat with Rosie hangin on the couch - twas a nice end to a busy day - but wait… there’s more!

I got home to find a box from UPS on my door, 2GB of ram, so a few screws removed, a old 512MB stick removed (Lindsay if you didn’t upgrade your ram from 512 and want to double up to 1GB let me know - make you a unbeatable deal) - but its now a 2GHZ 2GB box ;) very snappy, and of course the nerdyness doesnt stop there! Oh no no - new Universal builds of Thunderbird and Firefox! Wooohoo!

So all in all a busy, crazy-go-nuts day, but a good day none the less, definately must say I am blessed - but for now, this blessed boy is going to enjoy some random dvd entertainment as I work on some code as a SCP of like 22GB of a website copies between two servers - I’ll be on AIM, I imagine, feel free to say hi :) If not, night all - more random notes later I am sure!
