On Tuesday most media formats (music/movies) release new content, so usually you can hit iTunes, Real Store, MSN Music, etc. and have all the latest content thrown at you - well with iTunes 7 released last week, and the new Movies store, I was waiting to see what was in store today - and the iTunes pricing saddens me.
I purchased Pirates of the Carribean last week for $9.99 - and the quality is awesome, however - I could of easily purchased it on DVD for that same price when it hit the bargin rack at Target, Best Buy, etc. - same goes for new releases, while $14.99 isn’t a bad deal for Pirates of the Carribean 2 pre-order, the question comes to mind, why not just buy it in stores? I suppose for the non-nerdy person, its a quick and easy way to get a DVD -> iPod, but more and more companies are making that easier to convert your DVD’s into iPod compatible formats - even more so if you own a Mac, but Windows and Linux users both have methods out there as well.
So what makes more sense? $14.99 a hit for a video in which you get no special features, no disc to loan a friend, heck no disc to play on your TV - or say $49.95 for a application for your Windows/Mac/Linux station which converts that same priced DVD you bought in-store into a iPod ready piece of greatness?
Honestly, I think if iTunes wanted to get a larger cross section of nerds (not doubting they already have some buying) - but they should offer 2 versions of each video, the full priced DVD style download (special features, etc) for the DVD price, and a light “Movie Only” download for a lesser (under $10 price) similar to how they do their music purchases - but thats just my morning rant, I need my fruit loops.

On my way home today I did something not tottaly out of the ordinary, but different from my norm, I stopped by the gym, now during the summer months I hit the bike riding a lot, friends would come, it was good stuff, but now that Rosie lives across town, and my days have been longer, I have been missing rides, so I stopped in for a refresher course at the gym.
Got a appointment at 10am on Friday to meet with Joe (from the picture below) he is going to give me a new diet plan, workout ideas, and all-around kick my butt - which will be good as we hit winter, I usually slow on biking anyway, so my hope is to get into a groove again with working out, and I hope work/life allows it - be nice to loose a few pounds again, balance out some of the muscle bulk - as that’s always been one of my problems, I bulk up, versus lean out
Anywhoo, thats my crazy thing for the day, hopefully if all goes well this week, I’ll have some extra dollars rolling in, make my car payment, make some server payments, life is good. Night folks!
So I am looking at upgrading/replacing my HP+iPod 40GB - it has treated me well, but I think I am going to pass it on, and upgrade to one with Video/Photos (color in general) - plus the battery life is appealing - but only if all these pending things happen, waiting on one $800 a month contract, which is good, and I got a verbal “Looks Good” on my $400 a month contract for services, so if both happen, my car payment is done and then some, so one single splurge, iPod feva!
The old pod would go onto the gent I promised the first jump at it, Dan, then if he says no, it goes down the line to Rosie, and if no there, it keeps going and going till I find it a new home, but it would be nice to have some of my shows, iTunes, and finally organized layout of all my music on the pod - I have some tracks in OGG from my Tungsten days, when I put tunes on my PDA - but now the iPod is handy, works in my car, and looks cool, so why not 
I do want to organize my tunes, remove dupes, ditch OGG and find my discs and re-rip things into MP3/MP4 for iPod/iTunes, and maybe hook up a BIG 200GB drive for all my media so my primary drive on iMac 20 (who still needs a name, like Shimmi?) - but so much to do so little time, tonight’s project is FH - get it ready to ride, some stuff won’t be 100%, but its new, fresh, and updated packages, deals, etc. may get some folks excited and buying!

Saturday I did get to have some minor fun aside from a wake up call to work on a server for kman, I met up with Joe and Janesse for a second shoot, it was fun, they were more relaxed, we had more light (maybe too much) and I think personally I found my favorite shot:

Okay - So I just got out of the shower (much needed, I had a unloveable funk) - but I have had this thought in my head for a while now, and I figure I need to ask some advice of you the visitor, so don’t hold back, swing in, leave a comment, need some quality feedback.
So I need to fill my fridge at the office, as you can see it can fit 7 variety’s of drinks, but I think I want to mix it up a bit and get some grub for the office, since I find myself working, and forgetting to eat, then I come to the problem of Fast Food. So what would be good? Simple Drinks, I have extra storage for drinks, so I can still get boxes of drinks and store em in the closet, but I need some muchies ideas, easy to make food, simple meals - so post your ideas, and favorite beverages as I do have clients who come in and enjoy the sunkist, but I am sure there are other varieties of drinks
Well after some rest this morning, nearly back alive, just feeling run down lately, so much I am trying to get in-line, squared away, and good to go, I think, I hope, I pray, I can get FH up tomorrow before day’s end, or at least that’s my goal - few new sales couldn’t hurt, granted not everything will be live/good to go in one day, but I can continue to add in new information on new packages etc.
Servers have been on the plate lately too - whiteboard at the office has had 2-3 sets of plans on it for expansion, all mildly costly, but all would give a greater level of growth, expansion, and balance to the network, as well as some redundant DNS and more - it would be a great setup, just really need to see the growth of hosting sales.
But enough rambling, tis Sunday, and I am going to go relax, thanks for the prayers this morning while my server was down, hopefully things are stable now. Might post later! Night.
2 morning’s in a row of server issues - anyone want a job with bad hours and low pay? I’m looking for an employee God is good though, had a good extra set of hands on board, things got squared away, and doing some patches, and updates I have needed to do… what a morning!
