What a day, spent a big chunk of it on the roof, got our cooler serviced though, and I must say, I did good. 
twas nice and chilly and really did a good job at bringing the temp down as this house tends to hold onto heat after the day - but not anymore!
So tired, I watched Heroes and wowza, awesome episode, with only 3 episodes left, should be a nice ramp up to the finish - but all in all, a good day, tired, mainly from the heat I imagine, I did some good physical work, but I think the constant back and forth of temp is what got me in the end.
I am trying to stay awake, not sure why other than I wanted to get the floors mop’d tonight after the dust cloud layered them with dust from the cooler - but I am not sure I’ll survive that long, but I am gonna give it a try and hope for the best. Night folks.
Well you know how it goes, you goto a wedding and you meet people, at first I thought the only people I would talk to were a older couple I walked in at the same time as, but then I saw a former Awaken Model and said hello to her, saw 2 other folks I knew from High School, but the one kept avoiding eye contact, so I left him be, the other was part of the wedding, so she had a bit more on her mind.
But the reception is where I got to sit down with the wedding photographer and chit-chat shop a little, talk about weddings and such, and just have a nice conversation, and we got talking about a website for her, and she had some fun ideas which I think I can put together! So part of my plan this week is to see what I can do in some mock-ups with things (already have an idea in mind) but this sort of job can be ‘affordable’ but not cheap as the words “photography” & “easy to update” & just a dash of “no one else said it’d be easy” - its do-able, some tweakage, and some custom programming to make things work on the “easy to update” field, but the display of things seems fairly easy in my mind.
Which brings me to job options, server stuff, has me a tad burnt. Don’t get me a wrong, it’s my job, and I have some good bits of hardware and software - but the stress in that avenue has gotten to me over the years - now granted it has it’s upside (major boost to prayer life) - but especially with trying to have a full personal life, the servers bit can put a damper on a night out - sucks to say “Hey guys, I have to go.” and the night just got started, but I have good friends - and they understand (or at least seem to) - but I am thinking of pushing on the devel end of things a bit more, working on programming code, so I can say go sit at Starbucks and code for a few hours a day, and then level out the rest with photography on weekends and such.
I dunno, but I’d appreciate prayers on the matter - this year has already been the jump in sales, and such I expected it to be, but I’d love to travel and such, but without a full-time staff, then thats a tuff one, but prayers are appreciated, I may just be over-think and just tired in general, but sometimes I wonder what else I can do to move forward on other areas of my life a bit - but such is my evening getting my brain clear, and I think I am going to go find something to eat now that it has cooled down a bit, or maybe crash out while the crashing is good. A good time, got to see two friends tie the knot, beautiful ceremony, fun reception (a little loud, but my ears aren’t ringing anymore) got to meet a nice photographer and her daughter, talked cameras, talked a website, and ran into the groom’s family some, and some folks I knew from elsewhere who turned out to know Jannessie as well! So it was not too shabby!
And you know me, camera in toe, got to take some shots, some I want to clean up a bit, some I want to go black and white with, but all in all a fun time:
But a good day, the reception had items on the order of events till 9:15pm, but with the first night of heat, and no cooler/ac’s ready to go, I got not so much in the sleep dept. so I hit the road around 6:30ish - but I had fun, tired, got a website gig, and saw some friends, but tired none the less. What a day what a day. It started at 6am, and progressed, got some research done on some Credit Card processing matters (no real progress, but new info), went for a MySpace advertising pow-wow, watched 3 kiddos, then came home to deal with a customer who got not 1, not 2, not 20, but 6459 pieces of spam in one day - ouch, then followed that up by going to the store for food.
Needless to say, I am tired! But I did get a odd email stating I sold a t-shirt. See long long ago, I took and made some t-shirt designs over at cafepress.com in which I only had 2-3 sales - but today I sold one. One of the #cmcentral shirts to a lady in CA - crazy stuff, but in the time since I started it I have sold a shirt or two, and with CMC stuff I sold a CMC bear or two to the site’s owner for his use at GMA week - but just odd out of no-where I sell a WOMBAT shirt.
I am slowly passing out here, so I am not going to drag this on, but tomorrow is a new day, and I need sleep - have a wonderful Friday folks.
So I am in the backyard enjoying a nice breeze… Lovely right now! Currently all logged into IM from the dash and emailing in this blog.
A good day, enjoyed some Doctor Who rested some, slept some, and even ate some but had a bit of work mixed in for good measure also got my t-mobile hot spots working so very excited!
But for now im going to enjoy the breeze and try not to think. Night folks.

Well after being a PalmOS nerd for a number of years, I have made the move from my Treo650 to a T-Mobile Dash (WM5 Smartphone) and so far so good. I had really desired a strong PalmOS based phone, but features like Wifi, upgraded Bluetooth, and a better camera seemed to be a impossiblity as Palm like other ‘phone’ makers sold out, they made phones for “Providers” for instance the Treo680, while you can get a unlocked version, they only provide the full range of colors to Cingular customers - or the Treo700p, only for Sprint/Verizon - granted for features like EVDO - but why not a GSM/EDGE version with the new camera etc. for loyal users?
So instead of waiting for Palm to make a move, I researched the options T-Mobile had to offer, and the Dash made the most sense, providing me with a 1.3mp camera that takes decent shots and new bluetooth and integrated wifi - decent battery life, built in Internet Explorer browser, Java (which runs Gmai’s App Wonderfully) and slowly but surely I’m going to customize this device out, now granted I have 13 days to find some earth shattering thing to make it “bad” and return it, but so far good sound quality, works with my headset perfectly, only other test is for the road in using it’s BT to link the MacBook Pro to EDGE/GPRS and see if I can get online from anywhere.
Another perk to this upgrade is a upgrade to my package, got the following upgraded:
- myFaves 1000m + Nights/Weekends
- 400 Txt/Pic messages
- Unlimited T-Mob-to-T-mob (useful for family calls)
- 5 Faves (for friends/customers houses/cells)
- T-Mobile Internet + T-Mobile HotSpots (their new all-in-one internet plan) - Starkbucks here I come.
So not too shabby, monthly bill went up only about $15 - granted it’s higher, but compared to the overages I have gotten for going over 600m - a small price to pay.
